Zenject is a personal protocol-tracking app for iOS, published by Zen Life Labs LLC ("we," "us"). This policy also covers the provider web tools at zenject.app.
Questions about privacy? Contact us at privacy@zenlifelabs.com.
Zenject is built so that your information stays with you. There is no Zenject account to create, no login, and no Zenject server that receives your data. Everything you enter is stored locally on your device and is under your control.
You may enter protocols, compounds, doses, schedules, reconstitution details, notes, and lab results. This information is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database. We do not receive or have access to it.
If you grant permission, Zenject can read certain body-composition metrics from Apple Health to display alongside your tracking: body mass, body-fat percentage, lean body mass, body mass index, and waist circumference. Zenject requests read-only access and does not write to Apple Health. This data is used only on your device for display and is never transmitted to us. You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in the iOS Health app or Settings.
You can enable Cloud Sync to keep your data consistent across your own Apple devices. This uses Apple's private CloudKit database tied to your Apple ID. Your information stays within your personal iCloud and Apple's infrastructure; it is never sent to Zen Life Labs. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. If sync is off, your data remains only on your device.
If you enable dose reminders, they are scheduled as local notifications on your device. They are not sent through any server.
Zenject is a paid subscription, with a free trial, through Apple's In-App Purchase. Payments and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment-card details. Apple provides us only with the anonymous status needed to provide access. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
Clinicians can use our builder at zenject.app/builder to build a patient's protocol or lab panel and generate a QR code or file the patient imports into the app. This form runs entirely in your browser. The information entered is used only to generate the QR code or file on your own device; it is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and not stored. The page loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers, so it makes no third-party network requests.
The QR code or file you generate is yours to share with your patient. Once you hand it off (for example by text or email), it travels over whatever channel you choose; treat it like any other patient communication.
Because we don't collect your information, we have nothing to share. The only movement of your data is what you initiate:
You control your data. You can edit or delete individual protocols, compounds, and lab entries inside the app at any time. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data from your device. If you used iCloud sync, you can remove the app's data from iCloud in iOS Settings under your Apple ID. Revoking Health permissions stops any further reading of Apple Health data.
Your data is protected by your device's built-in security (device passcode/biometrics and, where applicable, Apple's encryption). Because we don't transmit or store your data on our own servers, there is no central database for an attacker to target.
Zenject is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA to access, correct, or delete personal data a company holds about you. Because Zen Life Labs does not collect or hold your personal or health information, there is no data on our side to access or delete; your information is in your own control on your device and in your own iCloud. If you have any questions, contact privacy@zenlifelabs.com.
Zenject is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not recommend or validate doses or schedules; any protocol reflects what you or your provider enter. Always follow the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version here. Material changes will be reflected in the app where appropriate.
